Red Sox & Red Wine

Tonight was a quick dinner of stir fry and some dry red wine. We are gearing up to watch the Red Soxs on TV and will be watching for my sister and her husband who are at the game with a catchy Cat in The Hat sign they made for the occasion.

Go Soxs!

Breakfast- SCD smoothie with organic yogurt, raspberries, honey, vanilla and banana
Lunch- Leftovers from last night including delicious butterflied pork chops, acorn squash with butter, honey, and nutmeg, and applesauce with cinnamon on top.
Dinner- Stir fry with grass fed beef, snow peas, peppers, onions and an array of wild mushrooms with a bit of garlic, ginger, toasted sesame seeds and peanut oil

PICTURE- Last night's dinner of roasted pork chops, acorn squash and apple sauce with cinnamon. Technically to be SCD legal you must make your own apple sauce however, I used organic Santa Cruise which is apples and vitamin C.

I'm really enjoying your blog, although sometimes I have problems trying to leave a comment. Not sure why...

Your stuffed peppers sound delicious! Would you be willing to share the recipe?

Thanks for encouraging someone like myself who's just starting out!

Thanks Denise! You may have noticed in some of my posts that at times I have trouble with the comments too. Not sure why. Maybe it is during times of high traffic. Hmmm. I will have to look into it. Feel free to email me directly at any time if you are having trouble getting through.

Hi Denise- You can find the stuffed pepper recipe in foodnetwork.com. just search under Giada and stuffed peppers. You will notice that I made some substitutions to make it SCD legal. I cannot post it here as it would be a copywrite issye.
